Tim is a longstanding member of 'The Archers' writing team. At the age of 23 he was the show's youngest ever writer and he is still the youngest writer thirteen years later! As well as scripting some of the biggest storylines (including 2015's 'Flood Week') he was also involved with creating four series of the digital spin-off show 'Ambridge Extra'.

Tim has written for medical drama 'Doctors' on BBC1 and is particularly interested in developing original drama serial ideas for TV. He is also interested in developing film screenplays, particularly those that feature the landscapes, history and people of the West Midlands.

Tim's theatre work has been performed at venues including the Southwark Playhouse, the Arcola, the Soho Theatre and the Birmingham Rep. Until 2012 he was co-artistic director of Net Curtains Theatre Company. Tim is also Deputy Chair of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain.
