Chris Jury is an award-winning actor, writer, director and producer. He has worked across the broad range of British theatre, film & TV working with such names as Mike Bradwell, Danny Boyle and Anthony Minghella, and with companies as diverse as Hull Truck, The Bush and Stratford East. In TV he has written and directed on shows such as The Bill, Holby City, Casualty, Eastenders and Coronation Street. As an actor he is best known for playing Eric Catchpole in over 50 episodes of BBC antique classic, Lovejoy. He is Artistic Director of Public Domain Arts & Media, and writes the political philosophy blog, I Am Not A Number, He has lectured on scriptwriting and Film & TV production at the University Of West London, Leeds Metropolitan University and Bath Spa University. He writes for The Morning Star, and the websites Counterfire and Culture Matters.
